Hold Your Own Events
You can take action by holding your own events to help educate the community, bring attention to concerns of specific urgency, and provide your community with the support needed to make informed decisions about their involvement in the ongoing genocide in Palestine. This page provides helpful template resources that can help guide the process.
Nakba Commemoration
Every May, Palestinians and people of conscience around the world hold events marking the Nakba, or catastrophe. These commemorations record the ethnic cleansing and mass expulsion of Palestinians from Palestine in 1948, leading to the creation of Israel on their land and homes. Many people witnessing the genocide happening today, are not aware of Israel’s brutal origin story and how the over seven-decade occupation came to be. Holding a Nakba recognition or commemoration in your community can offer a powerful learning experience.
Below are some resources to help get you started.

Host a Poster Exhibit
Art and visuals are a powerful storytelling tool that can break through the silence and information blackout on Palestine. The exhibit “Why We Record” is an expertly curated collection of over 40 posters with a range of images, art, infographics, and quotes compiled by the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) and Visualizing Palestine, capturing themes of fragmentation, displacement, return, and future visioning. Partners for Palestine has acquired the full exhibit and is happy to help you or your community, install, host, and display this exhibit throughout Florida. Please reach out to info@partnersforpalestine.org for ways we can help.
Samples from the exhibit and examples from showings are below.

Event Speakers
If you plan on hosting an event and would like to invite qualified speakers on the topic, please reach out to us by email at info@partnersforpalestine.org or on our social media. The Partners for Palestine board and members are well versed on this issue and many have seen and even lived in Occupied Palestine and the Holy Land, seeing first hand many of the tragedies that the world is witness to today. We would be happy to help support efforts to educate on and bring awareness to what’s happening to achieve justice.
