Our Mission
We strive to make an impact on American understanding of Palestine and Israel by:
-
increasing public awareness of Israel’s apartheid practices and its regular violations of Palestinian human rights,
-
supporting the nonviolent Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement, inspired by campaigns to end oppression in other parts of the world,
-
promoting dialogue on the legitimate goals of BDS at public universities and high schools, where such free exchange of ideas is endangered,
-
advocating change to a Florida law that threatens Floridians’ constitutional freedom of speech by penalizing criticism of Israeli practices,
-
meeting with our federal and state representatives to advocate policies supporting equal rights for Palestinians and Israelis.
